About Van Der Loo Yacht Interiors

Van Der Loo Yacht Interiors combines traditional skills with the latest technologies in the construction of luxury wooden furniture for Royal Van Lent Shipyard's superyachts, among others.

We work with the finest materials and highest quality timbers to create fully custom and custom designed furniture. At the Machinale, professional specialists work with the most modern 3D CNC milling machines and the draughtsmen use AutoCad and the 3D drawing program Siemens NX, among others, but craftsmanship is still central. Many senior level furniture makers combine forces with new-generation furniture makers and yacht interior builders - from, among others, the Wood and Furnishing College. This way, craftsmanship within the furniture industry remains our basis.

History

Van Der Loo was founded in 1844 by master carpenter Cornelis Van Der Loo. The family business already had over a century of experience when it started working for Van Lent in 1952. The collaboration between Van Lent and Van der Loo actually began with the construction of motor yacht Ventura. For this 23-meter yacht, Van der Loo did the interior paneling - to complete satisfaction.

Today

Some 200 yachts later, in 1985, the bond between the two companies was further strengthened. In that year, Van der Loo Yacht Interiors B.V. became an independent, 100% subsidiary of Yacht and Shipyard C. van Lent & sons. In this position, the furniture factory was able to further expand and specialise. In 2021, 177 years after its founding, Van Der Loo Yacht Interiors counted 86 employees.
