Kaag and Amsterdam
Royal Van Lent Shipyard, builder of Feadships, includes two state-of-the-art shipyards: one on the Kagerplassen, on the island of Kaag (since 1849) and one in the western port area of Amsterdam (since 2019). Royal Van Lent Shipyard is part of Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy (LVMH), a collection of companies that makes the world's most exclusive luxury products.
Knowledge and expertise
Together, both shipyards have three dock halls and two slipways, where three to four superyachts are completed each year. Depending on customer requirements, the yachts can range in size from 70 to 160 (!) meters. At peak periods, a total of some 850 professionals work side by side on the yachts. These are partly permanent employees, partly trusted co-makers and temporary workers. They contribute very different knowledge and skills, but share one quality: they are extremely good at their jobs

De werf bestaat op Kaag 170 jaar en is gespecialiseerd in luxe motorjachten van 70 tot maximaal ca. 100 meter.
In Amsterdam wordt begin 2019 een nieuwe scheepswerf geopend, waar superjachten tot 160 meter gebouwd kunnen worden.
In 1844 als meubelmakerij opgericht en werkt voor het eerst in 1952 met Feadship samen. Sinds 1985 onderdeel van Royal Van Lent Shipyard.
