De Voogt Naval Architects is the architectural firm that provides design, engineering and research & development of unique, custom-built superyachts for Feadship. In our office in Hoofddorp we employ about 175 professionals in various disciplines.
Cooperation and knowledge sharing
De Voogt is a specialised organisation in full motion and acts as the knowledge center for the Feadship departments. Therefore we daily explore new ways of cooperation and knowledge sharing, continuously striving for an extraordinary quality of our product.
Specialties
The design and engineering process cannot be compartmentalised into measured boxes. The knowledge and expertise of our employees and our teams always extends beyond what is required. Our services integrate the knowledge and experience of the various departments required to execute these unique and complex projects. Our specialties are:
- Design: Creates the most diverse individual design proposals.
- Naval Architecture: Investigates technical issues to meet defined requirements in specifications regarding form, performance and regulations.
- Structural: Develops and calculates the construction of the entire hull.
- Mechanical: Designs all installations and technical spaces on board.
- Interior: Handles the inside of the yacht in detail and makes a technical translation of the interior requirements.
- Exterior: Works out the design and appearance of the unique yachts in detail.
All expertise
A team of project managers takes care of the management of all ongoing projects. In addition, De Voogt has a Research & Development department. In short, we have all the expertise to carry out the total design and engineering process from A to Z, and beyond.
