Feadship considers your privacy to be of great importance. We therefore adhere to the provisions of privacy laws and regulations. This means that your data is safe with us and that we only use it for the purpose it was collected for. In this privacy statement we explain the purpose of our data collection through this recruitment website called werkenbijfeadship.nl - that is; what data we collect and how long we keep the data.
If you have questions, or want to know exactly what of yours we track, please contact Feadship at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Applying via werkenbijfeadship.nl
If you apply with us and mail us your resume and cover letter, this information will be received by the HR organisation of the company that offers the job you are applying for. Their HR department will process your application further, and you may or may not be invited for an introductory interview.
What data do we collect?
The data you provide to us. In general, candidates provide in their CV at least their name and place of residence, telephone number, e-mail address, date and place of birth, nationality, level of education, work experience, skills (and the languages they speak) and whether or not they have a driver's license. Sometimes they also provide their photo and/or a vlog and/or include details of their marital status, family composition, leisure activities and interests, a link to their LinkedIn profile and possibly their personal website.
For what purposes do we use personal data?
We process the personal data voluntarily provided by you to assess whether you are suitable for the open position or, in the case of an open application, whether we have a place for you in our company. On the basis of this assessment, it will be decided whether or not to invite you for an interview and subsequently whether or not to initiate an application procedure with the aim of finding a suitable candidate for the open position(s).
End of the procedure
A procedure ends either because the candidate is rejected or because a talent joins our team. Being rejected for a specific vacancy, does not mean you could not be suitable for a future vacancy. For this reason we will keep the resume and accompanying cover letter for a period of one year. We will contact you again after one year to check how you are doing and to give you the opportunity to supplement your data or to ask us to destroy the data.
Even if you have given us permission to store your resume and/or cover letter, you can withdraw it at any time.
We collect data for research purposes in order to better understand our applicants and/or visitors/visits to our website, so that we can tailor our services accordingly and optimise our website.
When you visit our recruitment website for the first time, we will display a message explaining our cookies. Here we will ask for your permission to use these cookies. You can also change the cookie settings. You can also do this through your browser.
The cookie-generated information is used to track how you use the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services relating to website activity and internet usage.
Most browsers are set to accept cookies by default, but you can reset your browser to refuse all cookies or to notify you that a cookie has been sent.
We also use Google Analytics to track how visitors use our recruitment website. We have a processing agreement with Google. This contains strict agreements about what they are allowed to track. We allow Google to use the Analytics information obtained for other Google services. We do not allow Google to anonymise IP addresses.
Rights of data subjects
We believe that a transparent privacy statement is important. We also find it important to point out the rights you can exercise. As a data subject you have the right to view your personal data and to (request to) correct, supplement, delete or block them.
Because we work with privacy-sensitive information (your resume contains privacy-sensitive data), we find it very important that third parties cannot use your private information. For this reason we consider it important that you can only access your data if you personally request this so that we can establish your identity with certainty.
You can also ask us to supplement, correct or delete your data. You also have the right to rectification and erasure of your data (the right to oblivion).
You have the right to restrict data processing. This means that you can request us to stop a part of the data processing and continue another part. You also have the right to data portability.
You can also object to data processing if you are of the opinion that your specific interests outweigh our legitimate interest in processing it. If you object to the data processing, we will weigh your objections and then make an informed decision regarding the data processing. If you do not agree or if you feel that we have not helped you in the right way or otherwise disagree with how we handle your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. This is the Personal Data Authority.
You also have the right not to be subject to automated decisions, the right to an effective remedy in court and the right to compensation if there has been a breach of privacy.
If you have any questions or comments or wish to exercise any of the aforementioned rights, please contact us at this e-mail address: email@example.com
Security of personal data is very important to us. We ensure that your data is properly secured. We ensure that, given the state of the art, the security of personal data is sufficient to prevent unlawful processing, unauthorised access, modification, disclosure or loss of data as much as possible.
Only employees authorised by virtue of their position have access to personal data. In doing so, they are contractually bound by a confidentiality clause.
Obligation to report data breaches
Feadship registers all data breaches (minor and major) internally. If there is a data leak with a significant chance of serious adverse consequences for the protection of personal data or if these consequences have already materialised, Feadship will report the data leak to the Personal Data Authority.
In principle, we keep your data as long as necessary. For our applicants, this means that we delete their resume at the end of a one year period procedure, unless they have been hired or unless they give us permission to keep the resume.
Third parties and processors
